The 20th Matsuzakume Picnic event was held on October 15th, 2022 at the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, Los Angeles. The theme of this year's picnic was "Twenty years of friendship, harmony, and progress." It was hosted by the Chinese University Alumni Association Alliance of Southern California, with the leadership of the Chiao Tung University Alumni Association Of Southern California, and co-hosted by the USTCAASC, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Los Angeles Alumni Association, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology Southern California Alumni Association. The event was also jointly sponsored by the Beijing Association USA, The Union of Chinese American Professional Organizations, and the Los Angeles Taishan Sports Association. Ding Yanyu, the former president of Chiao Tung University Alumni Association Of Southern California and the mayor of San Gabriel, attended the press conference and delivered a speech. Sean Luo, the CEO of Eton InfoComm Technology Inc ., also attended the press conference and expressed his company's full support for the event.
